About the Campsite

Moira Lakes Campsite is an ideal spot for Scouts, Guides, and uniformed groups, just 5 minutes from the M1 motorway. Exclusively for tent camping, it offers a leader’s caravan with space for six, a gas cooker, fridge-freezer, and two bathrooms with showers.

Our activities include paddleboarding, kayaking, archery, team-building games, and backwoods skills, all led by trained staff who are Access NI checked, safeguarding-certified, and qualified lifeguards.

With exciting activities and excellent facilities, Moira Lakes Campsite is perfect for outdoor adventures in a safe and welcoming environment.

Our group of Scouts had an unforgettable weekend at this campsite! The facilities were fantastic for tent camping, with plenty of space and well-maintained amenities. The activities were brilliant—our young people loved the team-building challenges and nature-based adventures. The staff were incredibly friendly and supportive, making sure everything ran smoothly. It's the perfect spot for Scouts, Guides, and other uniformed groups in Northern Ireland looking for an outdoor experience filled with fun and learning. We can't wait to come back for another campout soon!

Facilities are Brilliant!

This will be our third year returning to Moira Lakes and our group absolutely love it. The facilities are brilliant - clean, well-maintained, and a great site for camping. The camp site itself was perfect for our needs, the lake is perfect for activities and there is plenty of space for the young people to run around safely in the evenings. The staff are incredibly friendly, attentive, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure a perfect stay. Highly recommend this campsite for anyone looking for a campsite! One of the best sites our group have stayed at and the young people are always asking to go back.
